Terms and Conditions for MyGeorgies

Welcome to MyGeorgies (“MyGeorgies,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyGeorgies application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

MyGeorgies is a private personal finance Progressive Web Application (PWA) designed to help users manage and track personal financial information, including income, expenses, budgets, savings, cash flow, investments, loans, credit cards, retirement planning, utility tracking, historical financial records, and financial projections and calculations.

The Service is intended solely as a personal organizational and informational tool.

2. Experimental and Development Status

MyGeorgies is currently under active development and should be considered experimental, beta-stage, work-in-progress software that may contain bugs, defects, inaccuracies, or incomplete functionality.

Features, calculations, interfaces, storage methods, and functionality may change at any time without notice.

The Service may malfunction, become unavailable, produce inaccurate calculations or projections, lose data, corrupt data, fail to save information, or behave unexpectedly.

You acknowledge and accept these risks by using the Service.

3. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice

MyGeorgies is not a bank, financial institution, accounting firm, investment advisor, broker-dealer, tax preparer, legal advisor, or fiduciary.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations or projections, the correctness of financial reports, uninterrupted availability, preservation of data, synchronization between devices, security against unauthorized access, or compatibility with all devices or browsers.

You should independently verify all information before relying upon it for financial or personal decisions.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYGEORGIES AND ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to inaccurate calculations or projections, lost or corrupted data, financial losses, investment losses, tax consequences, missed payments, overdrafts, budgeting errors, credit impacts, business interruption, or reliance on any information generated by the Service.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow certain liability limitations, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data, verifying calculations and reports, reviewing account balances and transactions, monitoring due dates and payment obligations, safeguarding your own devices and credentials, and determining whether the Service is suitable for your needs.

8. Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right at any time to modify the Service, add or remove features, suspend or discontinue operation, restrict access, reset or delete data, or terminate the Service entirely, with or without notice.

We are under no obligation to maintain backward compatibility with previous versions.

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation of the Service, upload malicious code, reverse engineer the Service except where prohibited by law, or use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

All software, source code, designs, graphics, branding, logos, text, and related materials associated with MyGeorgies are the property of MyGeorgies or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

No rights are granted except as expressly provided in these Terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyGeorgies and its owners, developers, affiliates, contractors, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
